Do-it-yourself yacht self steering method (wind vane) on Cal34

This is our self steering method. We build that piece of gear final wintertime… performs definitely great. It truly is pretty basic and bullet proof. The wind flip the vane which flip the trim tab which flip the auxiliary rudder we crafted and put in. Is effective on every stage of sail. It truly is not concluded nonetheless, we even now want to set up a tiller on the auxiliary rudder.

  5. Thanks, it's made out of 3 piece of 3/4" plywood laminated and fiberglassed. After a few season in the water, it didn't take on a drop of water.
