  6. Great video I'm over in te atatu about to put a cat in soon , I have a m8 next to me he has a lead keel and I'm intrested to know how epoxy sticks to lead long term did you have to put any sort of aditive in with it also did you glass right under and around keel many thanks

  10. Thanks Rodger , I had pondered about it thinking it could attract moisture, maybe, but on deck I may try it. It proberly sand ok paint etc I rebuilt just Jane and know what you have been through it's fun and rewarding when a lot of good kiwi boats go down hill quickly over the old money thing thanks

  11. Hi love the vids one question with the resin on the keel it looked like you used sanding dust and glue powder mixed , if so the sanding dust do , acts as filler or what thanks

  17. I really enjoyed watching that. Just the right amount of time on each stage so I can see it coming together all in one go. We are trying to get a 3 hour weather window to paint our ketch!! never mind 3 days… I think you've done a great job on a beauty of a vessel.

  19. Thanks for the video, very interesting and well crafted job, looks great. Amazing after 30 years and keel bolts look new. You mind if I ask why was the Keel modified? That would be better for larger sails but isn't it a compromise in draft and shallow waters? Did you get bigger sails?
