  4. Hey Captain Mortlock, ur doing an amazing job with the videos keep up the awesome work! And just curious, I was wondering if u could attach a go pro to the anchor chain so that way we could all see the anchor going down to the bottom and setting! That would be an unreal video! And where did u say u were at and how deep of water were u in, in this video!

  5. Interesting to note how little the guests know about what is really happening on board. Guest: why are we doing sea trials? Capt: Have another glass of champagne.

  16. Sorry about the stabilizer failure, but glad it's all better now. For future videos, when you're talking to someone on the phone or over the comms, can you add subtitles so we know what they're saying? If possible – and not terribly time consuming – that would be great so we can understand what they're saying. Also, would love to see "a day in the life" of Barb, as well as the stewardesses!

  17. How did the guests handle the 2 day detour for repairs? I imagine the charter contract spells out the protocol for such situations. But guests could still be unhappy because their itinerary was changed….

  19. 9:51 when they say it's a very old system, they're really saying "we can make more money selling you a new unit than spending the time trying to find the $5 component that caused the failure of your existing unit"

  21. This is a frequency converter which probably drives the electric motors of the stabilizers.

  28. How much do you pay to dock the yacht in port? Is it by the hour or day, how/when do they collect the money, and does the price vary a lot between ports?

  29. Just wondering: do you need keys to start the yacht engine (like a car)? If so, do you have multiple copies in case you lose them?

  31. I think the decision to upgrade was a good call, considering the effort to diagnose, good logistics support, little down time, guests happy, captain and crew confidence high, and the cost was acceptable considering annual maintenance budget.
I appreciate the honest reality of what's involved – no fluff. . And a thanks to the owner as well.

  35. Do they stabilizers have a Manuel engage, disengage? Wondering if they broke while in the extended position would you be able to bring them in. Really wish I was out there in paradise with y’all. Heat here in south USA has been so bad this summer.
