Of course I was able to learn more mooring tips along with checking into GC. It is so awesome that people from all over are fans of yours , which of course worked out great in GC. 3. I ran under a barbed wire fence when I was a kid and slit my scalp open. My mum said we had better go to the Doc but my Dad said we don't have to waste money on Doctors and tied the wound together with my hair. It worked but the two sides did note mate up nicely and it caused a ridge making it difficult to comb my hair. Good luck guys. Cheers, Rob.

  10. We went to the Cayman Islands several times in the mid-late 90's scuba diving. Stingray City was in full swing back then too… You should check out the Tibbets artificial reef on Cayan Brac. We went in 97 just after the ship was sunk. Very cool back then. I don't think it has held up too well. Still lots of fun.

  11. Grand Cayman one of my fav islands. Cayman Brac is great for scuba and snorkeling. I've been shopping in that supermarket. It was a Krogers then. A lot of great restaurants along seven mile beach!

  24. Hi Bud & Buddy. Please enlighten me. Ever since Steve Irwin got stung and died from just swimming over a stingray, I thought maybe it would be best to keep your distance from them. Seems that is a misconception. Jordan, I cracked my head a few weeks ago just like you. I just kept a compress on it until the bleeding stopped. Worst thing was the headache that I had the rest of the day until the next morning.

  30. Fantastic video, awesome scenery. That barracuda looked like 4 ft, and those stingrays looked cool. Sorry you got your head cut but ive got possibly an idea. You know those lawrence 4 in covers. But something with rubber would work. Be safe and God bless. Your wife done a awesome job on fixing up your head.

  32. Thanks for the heads up on pointed protrusions at head height, when you installed that switch block I thought surely could have found a better place than there. If anyone needs a needle for stitching people and only have a straight one, heat the pointy end over a flame till red then bend into a slow curve, sharpen a short section of the point inside the curve into a knife blade using an angle grinder, sterilise thread and needle in metho and use a vibrating motion to push the needle through the skin to make the knife part work easier, it works really well, have sewn myself up a few times. Skin is pretty hard to push through otherwise, at least mine is.

  33. BTW I split my nut on a falling cockpit locker lid, my wife gave me three stitches and I saw double for 2 days at anchor at NW Cape Sable Everglades National Park. Ouch! I survived and still loved our stay there.

  34. Looking forward to what you come up with for flopper stoppers on a tight storage budget boat. I'm thinking canvas 2' wide shallow open bottom bucket collapsable with a perimeter ring frame that has two hard semi-circular flaps hinged across the centre with the outside edges engaging on the bottom edge inside lip of the shallow bucket. Lip needs a rope inside it to hold tension. Parachute bridle for support, weight belt or fillable sand bags for weight below. One on the boom and one on the spinnaker pole. Could be a Atticus/Desiree product.

  36. So Cuba vs "civilization" hmmmmm amazing what a little enterprise can do. We could substitute Venezuela, Nicaragua, Angola, Yemen, former Eastern Block nations etc. Yup "when we get back in the U.S. well will build a flopper stopper" funny how that works. Every time I go abroad I am blown away by the massive differences we enjoy without a blink of the eye. Yet such extreme beauty and are often more difficult to come by so it would seem you have hit upon the coolest way to feel it all; good for you!

  38. We have been to “Stingray Alley” 3 times and it’s the one place we love going to! It’s just so cool how they will come right up to you! The first time all the way out to the location my wife said there was no way she was getting in the water! But then when we got there, peer pressure made her get in the water! She was petrified and was intently staring looking to stay away but then this real big one came right to her and she just screamed as loud as she could and there was at least 50 people around there and everyone just froze and you could hear a pin drop! Funny but in the back of everyone’s mind is that doubt of what might happen! It was funny!! But after that she ended up holding one and KISSING HIM and she got a back massage from him as the tour guide held him up on her back. Anyways a great experience!

  41. Amigos, dont call it “civilization” the right name is free world or capitalism, Cuba is comunism, beautiful country and beautiful people slaves of it own system.
