Paying out $Tens of millions? – Entire world&#39S COOLEST Tremendous YACHT TOY (Captain&#39s Vlog 112)

We’re lastly onboard the lynx 24YXT yacht for a full tour and explanation. Could this be AWOL’s new shadow/assist vessel or really should we buy a even bigger boat.

  2. You've got to get a helicopter for the shadow boat, unless there's a spot on the main boat…………

  3. As for Captain on which boat…..Imagine the pay would be a lot less on the Shadow Boat..Can you live with the lesser pay is the question. Fun to Captain is one thing. Manage crew and larger Boat is another thing.

  5. I'm all for buying it, creating jobs is a good thing and its obvious it can be afforded. It can also be chartered to other boats when not in use by AWOL.

  6. Why not merging the two kinds of yachts and buy an explorer vessel like for example a Cantiere delle Marche Flexplorer?

  8. Dude your loosing the plot you want to be the captain of bigger more expensive boat. Keep to one boat and upgrade. If you want to be a skipper of a shadow boat do that but you will he left behind.

  10. A bigger boat would seem the way to go, having 2 boats you automatically have twice the expense.

  12. Shadow boat option is appealing for having it all set up and surely the number of toys it can accommodate would mean a bigger boat would need to be much bigger to compete? And if you need to go into a harbour you could just leave the shadow boat at sea and pay for a smaller berth, yes?
PS I’d have to call something like that PlayStation

  13. it's more like a container than a luxury yacht, they could have done a lot better with large space like this

  14. I like the idea of a shadow boat ! It would give the option of seperate locations for large parties. For example ladies event on the main vessel at a picturesque location while the lads head out for a day wakeboarding/diving.

Personally I see the Lynx 24 as the ideal short range explorer batchelor pad 👊😎 hahaha

  17. I'd say depends on cost and potential if you got a bigger yacht with more room for toys would the cost of fuel out weigh having two boats and would a bigger yacht be more money for charter cause I'm sure you retain some clients year to year for chartering..

And please stay on the main yacht over the other boat if you get the 2nd ship.

  18. The piece of thread on the lower right was distracting. Your enthusiasm was great. Would be interesting to see some financial analysis running one large vessel vs the two smaller.

  19. AWOL charters for €110,000 per week. I have no idea what your profit margin is pegged at, but the thought of running a shadow boat at the present AWOL price point is obviously economically insane,; either get a bigger (HUGE) mothership or forget the idea of a shadow boat entirely.

Professionally, my opinion is that captaining anything over 33m seals your status as a 'captain' forever. I salute the shoulder boards no matter what the command. Having said that, even with your experience, the best berth you could get with SHELL or NORDSK or as a Coast Guard ice breaker bridge officer would be as third mate – completely different skill sets.

  23. Professional suicide to go from Awol to a support vessel, an owner will always regard the captain of the toy boat as less important than the captain of the vessel he is on. During the next recession, and there is always a next recession, the toy boat will go and the Yacht will stay.
