  2. But you very certainly did a better job than anyone on that boatyard could or would have done or have ever done.

  3. why do people keep using random orbital sanders to remove material….. could not pick a worse tool! random orbits are for smoothing. you need a grinder with a flap wheel and you will go 1000x times faster that or a belt sanders or detail sanders…. literally anything but random orbitals… still love the channel. Been randomly watching other videos of your and decided to start from the beginning

  4. If you slow down in the hand movement , and actually let the sander work , you would find it works quiet quickly

  5. Interesting, that boat had a lower unit like an inboard motor. I expected to see a shaft and prop.

  18. Two weeks getting your boat ready? That's all? I've spent two years on mine and it was a "cruise ready" boat when I bought it. The one day boat project is always four.

  25. Sanding is a total pain in the ass but it is SO satisfying to finish and start painting on the new paint. You guys did a great job and affirmed my decision to buy a 15 foot fishing boat and not a 30 footer, especially since I already have a 50 foot catamaran.

  26. I switched from vinyl coat to ablative so I wouldn't have to sand anymore…..I HATE SANDING!!!!!

  27. Sanding virtually anything with an orbital is miserable work, especially at that angle! Ugh. Good on you.
